Summary0000158: Publishing content automatically in future dates
Description

Currently there isn't any way to publish articles / shortcut articles automatically later. Implement a simple way to set up a publish date.

Additional Information

This is how it would work:

  • The article wouldn't be shown if it's createdDate is later than now.
  • In this case modifiedDate should be the same as createdDate.
  • A date picker is necessary for program / article editing page.

Note to self: HTML5 date picker will be added to news articles too.

Another note: Modified date should be saved as the same date with created date if created date is older than it.

This can be done in Model level.

Resolution: I didn't do this. Modified date isn't displayed on news articles, if it's before Created date. On shortcuts, it may be displayed on the side column in the change history, but it's probably ok.
